Built for the people who run the building

Millions of Americans live in homeowners associations, condominiums, and co-ops, and the boards that run them are mostly volunteers. When it is time to hire or replace a management company, those volunteers are usually starting from a Google search and a few referrals. There has never been one place built for them to see the options side by side.

PropertyManagementSearch is that place. Today we track 2,661 management firms across 205 cities, 1,162 of them matched to an active state license. We started in Florida, where community association management firms must be licensed by the state, so we can show boards which firms hold that license. More states are on the way.

What we do for boards

Where the data comes from

Listings come from public sources, mainly Google Maps business profiles and the firms' own websites. License details come from official state licensing records (in Florida, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation). Ratings shown are Google ratings, which often reflect residents as well as boards. See how we rank firms for the full method. Spot an error? Tell us and we will fix it.
